Honestly, Id rather keep him and tag him again if we truly are gonna get the top pick or even a top 3 pick.

A new GM would make it a point to try his best to lock Bowe up long term and make it a priority...same goes for Albert.

the only way I would want him traded is if we have no chance at keeping him and I truly believe that the problem with getting him locked up is Pioli/Cassel.

Those two are gone if we dont turn this season around BIG TIME.

I know it was a joke, but comp picks are only given out for players you lose to free agency.

We are currently in line to get a third from Carr and probably 3 or 4 late rounders from other players because the count is -5 iirc.

If this hold-out was 100% about the QB, yes. I would guess that since he has held out before this is mostly about money.

Well ideally a new GM could come to a fair agreement with him. Who knows with Pioli. He is so hell-bent on proving he doesn't need to beg big players to stay he could be unwilling to accept a reasonable contract from Bowe. Or at they very least not be interested in reaching a fair middle ground.

Just to be devil's advocate, but this could completely be Bowe's fault if he is asking for Fitz, or near Fitz money.

Certainly, and I said as much this offseason. I was just pointing out that even if it is money that doesn't mean we are screwed, assuming Pioli isn't the one negotiating anymore.
