I have to play the waiting game now up to 90 days but it will be here.

Who has one and what is your concealed weapon of choice?

I live in the Bay Area of Kalifornia so I`ll never get a concealed carry permit around here. However, "when I travel".....I prefer my Glock 20 in 10mil..............

The Springfield Armory XD 45 is a great gun if you want a .45. I have and carry from time to time an XDm 9mm. I've not heard anything good about the sub compact xdm line. It seems they rushed production.

What does one do with a concealed weapon? I grew up on a farm with guns but I don't recall ever needing to carry one (outside of hauling one down to the pasture or hunting).

I would assume that, ideally, you would never do anything with it at all outside of a range. Same thing with the gun you have at home.

I started carrying when i lived in the city and had a crack head get shot on my street and two of my friends got jumped in separate incidents. Figured i wasn't going to be a victim. I live in blue springs now (suburbia) and don't carry as much any more.

I believe if citizens are trained they should carry. The more the better.

Quick question. My neighbor inherited his deceased brother's guns', etc.

One of them is a Colt .32. It looks ancient. What's some thing like that worth & what avenue would a person go abouts to sell it? TIA.

I need to look into getting a permit. Being in this chair makes me insecure wherever we go.

Never thought it would happen in the Peoples Republik of Illinois, but apparently the push for conceal carry is starting to gain some real momentum. The FFL guy I picked up my H&K from today was very informed and made me, for the first time ever, think that it might actually happen in the next couple of years.
