Maybe in the 9 hour interview in Philly...where Pioli possibly wanted a linemen as his plan going forward and Reid wanted a QB.

I haven't got to watch yet but I'm willing to bet that's EXACTLY what it is.

Remember, the reports were that "the new head coach will decide Piolis fate"

They obviously didn't agree on the direction they want to take the team and Reid told Hunt to can him.

Andy Reid essentially fired Pioli...and then Pioli says "don't be so locked in on a quarterback, lots of other good players out here"

I understand I am reading between the lines and drawing hopeful conclusions, but it seems that may have been a philosophical difference between the two in that interview in Philly that lead to Piolis firing...by Reid.
