FSU vs. da "U" - the TRUE MEANING of the rivalry between CrimiNoles and Cokes
What is the TRUE MEANING of the rivalry between the Florida State CrimiNoles and their arch-rivals, the Cokes from da "U?"
You know about the songs, that when the CrimiNoles take the field, "Bad Boys" is played. And right before the Cokes come on the field through a fog of white powder, Glenn Frye blares out "You see it in the headlines, hear it every day They say they're gonna stop it but it doesn't go away Move it through MIAMI!!!!" and the Cokes take the field... But, really, to summarize THE TRUE MEANING of the Cokes-CrimiNoles rivalry, one has to go back to 2004, for just this one play... but first one definition is needed... DUMBEST = lowest positional score on the Wonderlic Announcer: Cokes have a first down on the CrimiNole 36. The DUMBEST WR (Roscoe Parrish - Wonderlic Score 10) goes in motion. The DUMBEST QB (Brock Berlin - 13) takes the snap, fakes a handoff to the DUMBEST RB (Frank Gore - 6). Pressure is coming from the DUMBEST DE (Eric Moore - 9). DUMBEST QB steps up and throws a pass intended for the DUMBEST TE (Kevin Everett - 12) which is broken up by the DUMBEST SS (Jerome Carter - 12)... Last edited by LaDairis; 02-23-2011 at 09:30 AM.. |
