Fitting that Pioli could start his stint in KC by letting Babin go and finish his stint in KC by signing him.

at least they let him go so he could play for another team. They definitely sat him down and said we are benching you for Brandon Graham, so either its not dress on Sundays or get cut to land somewhere else.

Essentially they did the opposite of what we are doing with Steve Breaston. Cut him to play younger guys rather than deactivate him and let him rot on the bench

Remember when I said that I'd consider giving up next year's first and this year's 2nd to trade back into the first and grab Te'o, then to a 4-3?

Babin - Powe - Poe - Hali
DJ - Te'o - Houston

Rape faces.

I agree that Babin's not a destroyer of worlds, but he's a nice player and would be a very good complimentary pass rusher.

Ironic that I released him from my fantasy team early this morning.
He just wasn't doing enough this yr to warrant keeping him on my team for the playoff run.

I sure hope my releasing him didnt help influence their coaches to make this decision...

He's not Brian Urlacher, nor is he even Derrick Johnson.

He's physically limited and I'll bet dollars to donuts that he's not 6'2. He's not particularly fast, either. He'd have gone behind Kuechly this year as well.

I think the guy is a second rounder at best. He's being overhyped because he plays at Notre Dame and they're having a "good" season.

We'll see. I see him as being as close to Urlacher as the draft has seen in awhile. He's a hell of a hitter, he's excellent in coverage, he's one of the best LBer I've seen in a decade at diagnosing plays.

No, he's not Ray Lewis. Nor is he the physical freak that Willis is. I don't see a true comparison between Bowman and Urlacher, to tell you the truth. Lofa was smaller and not as explosive in small spaces as what I see in Ta'o. I don't want to just go down the list of Bears MLBs, but a taller Singletary isn't a bad comparison at all.

I think you're really underrating Te'os athleticism.
