KC isnt going to cut Charles...if this line improves like it should...he's going to remind everyone how great he is.

Ware/West are serviceable ...but they arent superstars. Charles is doing what he was born to do. Like Marcus Allen..even when he slows down...he's still going to be good.

Charles is too perfect for an Andy Reid offense. He's not going anywhere until its a sure thing that he can't still do it.

Even a slowed down JC is still a 4.5 ypc back. Which is among the best in the AFC.

Charles is the most naturally gifted player KC has had since their inception...sorry TG. Had Charles had a decent line at any time in his career...well..I cant really say how that would have turned out..because he hasn't.

Well that's neat, but they didn't get the value they should have got.

Dorsey's on record stating he would have taken Chris Jones at #26.

IMO, Dorsey's a ****ing pimp.

In all my years as a Chiefs fan, I've never heard or seen a defensive lineman kick ass on Day One of pads like Jones.

That's not a fluke.

He probably should have. I think Chris Jones will be good too, and not having that option year hurts their positioning in the future.

Louis Reddick sp? Is one of the only people who know what they are talking about and he says it's clear who the good teams are because they can scout guys in college and know how they'll do with the teams system. 3 winning seasons since Dorsey got here speaks to that. Some of the contracts handed out have been puzzling but the guy has an eye for talent. Berry needs to sign or GTFO.

Good read on the Chiefs cap options next year.
Did that guy just ****ing suggest "moving on" from Jaye Howard next year after we signed him for a ****ing steal?

Holy shit.

Eh, there's a million things that can happen between now and then.

Let's just enjoy the fact that so far, he's looking like a nice selection and leave it there.

Plenty of time to argue in 3 years.

Berry can do whatever he wants at this point.....he's not the linchpin for this defense to be successful. Let Jerry pay for him..I'm sure he's heard his name hyped on the TV. Dallas fans will love it for about 6 games.....then are left scratching their heads. "Shouldn't he be making more impact plays for his record contract?"

I read the ESPN bit, and frankly I'm it doesn't give me an ounce of heartburn.

We can live without an all world punter, and Mauga and Jah Reid. Berry is as good as gone, and while I love the dude, it's probably best for us not to sink that kind of cash in the saftey position. Hell if we can franchise Poe, we're fine. We just need to continue to draft well. Which is key in the modern NFL. This team is in a good spot if you ask me.

This is a top 5 defensive line too.....if you are making noise here, you probably are going to make noise wherever you are. This guy might be something..

Can you imagine Dee Ford coming in and wrecking Hali/Houston in his first practice? Thats what Jones just did...

Dee Ford reported has two "sacks" today.

This is a Super Bowl team.

Hop on, peeps...

If Dee Ford is beating our all-world OTs we have problems.
