Not sure if I posted this in here or not. When I went to see my personal trainer a few weeks ago, we took some numbers. Since I've been seeing her, I've lost 17 lbs. 12 of that was fat loss. I've lost 2% body fat, and my BMI is down three points.

214.6 this morning for me. According to my log, the first time I've been under 215 since October (down from 222 in February). I feel like I'm at one of those points where I'm at the end of a plateau and about to drop several pounds pretty quickly. Not quite sure how to explain that, it's just a sense that I have.

I don't always make it. But my normal routine is a 2 liter pitcher of water over the course of a couple of hours in the morning, and then several 24 oz brita bottles at work. I would say most days I'm in excess of 120 oz.

I don't drink much of anything else, although I've had a couple of caffeinated beverages of the soda variety in the past 10 days to help me stay awake at work.

That's actually probably where the weight loss that I am sensing will come from, as work calms down and I get a little bit more sleep. I wouldn't actually say I'm on a plateau, because I haven't been tracking my weight, so I have no earthly idea. I've just been through some plateaus in the past, and the way I feel right now reflects how I've felt at the end of a plateau at other times.

I drink 4L of water at work alone. I drink 500mL before I drive to work and probably about 1.5L when I get home. That's about 6L a day. I don't know what it comes out to in ounces, but I'm healthier than ever, so I'm going to keep doing it.

IIRC a liter is about 33 ounces. So that's close to 200 ounces. I think the normal rule of thumb (for active people at least) is an ounce of water per 2 pounds of weight, although I think some people go up to 2/3 of their body weight (meaning for me from 108 oz to 144 oz).
