It's like, "Look! Even those crazy Mexicans and their hydraulics think the Chevy Silverado SS is the shit!"

Or maybe it's the fact that they have a very Mexican-influenced rap song going along with it that really gets to me. I don't know. It's either pandering, or insulting; regardless, it rubs me the wrong way for some reason. I'm not usually like this.

When reading this one must understand that Hispanics are not an ethnic group. To be an ethnic group means a group of people share the same race and a common culture.

Black Cubans and white Mexicans, whites from other former Spanish colonies, Amerindian Mexicans and Amerindians (Natives) from the Americas are not the same ethnic group nor are they of the same race. Because if this were to be true, then white and black Americans would also be the same ethnic group. But, as we know they are not the same ethnic group or race.

Also an historical point to remember. White Anglo and Germanic Americans have a history of discriminating against the white Irish, white Italians, white Greeks and white Spanish people who immigrated into the United States. There is an important reason why "Hispanic" white Americans have push to be listed as "ethnic group" in America, lumped in with black "Hispanics" and Amerindian "Hispanics."
