Imagine this draft
"On the subject of solid drafts, one of the pregame talking heads last Sunday criticized Arizona coach Dennis Green for making dubious choices in his first Cardinals lottery. Has the guy been paying attention? Green can perhaps be second-guessed – especially now that he has benched Josh McCown – for not choosing one of the top quarterback prospects with the third overall selection in the first round. But as the performance of wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald continues to improve, even that criticism might be a reach. Each of the top four choices – Fitzgerald, linebacker Karlos Dansby, defensive tackle Darnell Dockett and center Alex Stepanovich – are starting for the Cardinals. Dansby and Dockett could be defensive rookie of the year candidates. Stepanovich has played well, and maybe been the most consistent performer, on a unit that has changed bodies incessantly and even changed coaches at mid-season. When Green gets the Cardinals turned around, hardly as impossible a challenge in a division that is anything but a powerhouse, the 2004 draft will eventually be regarded as one of the most defining moments of the metamorphosis."
espn we could be top 5 next year and we need to hit like this in each round.....any regrets we took Siavii over Dockett? (hypothetical, of course..) |

I'm willing to take the 'wait and see' approach with Siavii.
