I wonder if Spock is going to be acting like a sex-crazed hormone-imbalanced teenager again...

They may have suckered me out of my money the first time, but it'll never happen again. Absolutely the WORST abortion of a "re-imagining" of an iconic sci-fi franchise in cinematic history. I almost wept at its awfulness.

I bet Gene Roddenberry was spinning in his grave fast enough to spawn a rogue black hole.

I hope they continue with the storyline of giving command of the Enterprise, the flagship of Star Fleet, to a 23 year old Star Fleet Academy graduate as well...Kind of like the USN giving command of a $10 billion aircraft carrier to some 20 year old kid who they had just signed up at the recruitment office...

I admit, I did find that difficult to accept.

the new Spock just showed more of his human side, why should he have to be so dull & logical when he is after all, half human?

I sure enjoyed it more than any of the previous Shatner & Piccard snoozers, granted i'm not emotionally tied to the old casts like a lot of others, but i thought it did a good job of keeping most of the key elements of the old mythos & expanding upon the main characters pasts.

To each their own i guess.

Hell, I've seen the light!

Let's make him half gay as well, and we can watch him going down on Kirk instead of them playing 3 dimensional chess!

I bet Gene Roddenberry was spinning in his grave fast enough to spawn a rogue black hole.
I would think since he's half human, that the human side would be harder to control as a young man/Vulcan.

That, to me, would be an interesting aspect of the growth and maturing of Spock to explore in these movies.

I guess your in the minority then. It was by faaar, the highest grossing Star Trek film ever and absolutely revitalized a tired, worn out franchise.

Wow, I guess now that I think of it people with taste have always been fewer in number than trailer park slack jaws who think a bunch of explosions and shiny lights are the ultimate in movie making.
