Geno Smith Escorted off airplane by police for verbal altercation

Apparently he was upset with their seating policy. Can't you see Brady, Manning or Rodgers doing this?

Geno Smith Allegedly Escorted Off Plane By LAX Cops [UPDATE]
Geno Smith Allegedly Escorted Off Plane By LAX Cops [UPDATE]
SEXPAND
Jets quarterback Geno Smith was apparently escorted off a Virgin America flight at LAX today by police after what a witness called a "verbal altercation."

The photo you see above was sent to us by a reader who witnessed the incident and says the shot came "moments before" Smith was escorted out of the airport by cops. Our tipster wasn't the only person who saw it:

@JimmyTraina I don't have video, but I'm at LAX and just saw a Geno Smith fiasco yelling at Virgin America workers. Escorted by cops LOL

— Mark Rue (@markyOso) January 17, 2014
We're working on getting more details, but it looks like Geno's weekend isn't off to a great start.

Update (7:11 p.m.): Our tipster fills in some details:

We were waiting for our flight at LAX to Vegas and were put on standby on Virgin American just like Geno. We were told to get seat assignment at 2:40. Apparently Geno was not on board with that. My friend walked over to discuss seat assignment and Geno was saying to airline ticket agents, "**** that, this is bullshit." "Why the **** do I have to wait until 2:40." He would not let it go. He continued to curse and be loud for about 5 minutes. Police were called. They talked for a few minutes and then 3 officers escorted him out of the terminal.

How does an NFL QB in his early 20's already have a double chin?

JFC. People acting like this is no big deal? How many franchise QBs behave like this? Geno Smith is a joke, just not as much as his supporters on here.

-Here we go-

Geno Smith took a team with NO PROBOWLERS to 8 wins and lost a tie breaker for the final playoff spot.

Alex Smith took a team with 9 PROBOWLERS to only 3 more wins.

They both only had 1 win against a playoff team and ours came against a team that hadn't benched their quarterback yet in favor of a red hot second year guy.

-that's all the trollin power I have-

EDIT: Geno had 2 wins against playoff teams. He beat NE (won player of the week honors) and also beat the Saints.

Oh, and BTW...I'd like to add that I'd much rather have Geno sitting behind Alex and learning as a backup than anything Eric Fisher showed us last year. That's for sure. Geno was a better quarterback than Eric Fisher was a right tackle.

Who knows what would have happened to Aaron Rodgers career if he had to start right away. He was a Tedford guy. I will alway think that Genos best chance would have been to sit for a year or two in a good system with good coaching.

I'd agree with this.

If this was such an abysmal and shitty draft, there's no reason at all why Eric Fisher had to be the pick. Take the opportunity to reach for the ****ing stars.

Dan Marino was a coke head and Favre was texting dick picks. We don't want no HOF'er, but some squeaky clean white boy game manager.
