Peyton Manning says he will have MRI on Monday

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will have an MRI Monday after being hit in the right knee area late in Sunday’s win vs. San Diego, he told the media after the game, according to the Broncos’ official Twitter feed.

“I’m pretty sore. They kind of got me twice in that lower area…get an MRI tomorrow and will know more then,” Manning said, according to the Broncos.

Manning was limping after being hit by Chargers defensive end Corey Liuget on a pass play in the final two minutes of regulation. Manning was attended to by the Broncos’ medical staff, but he stayed in the game.

I would like it if we played with their normal high-class, but that will only lead to getting ****ed on every play.
other team's can't do that because they don't have the financial arrangement with the refs that the Donks do.

You don't have Peyton or Brady, so you still wouldn't get all the calls and no-calls.

I have been reading the Mange this morning - and I feel a sense of reality starting to set in over there. With their fearless leader in question - they are starting to questions their offensive line, and the toll the hits are having on PM. Doubt is starting to creep in over there....Even if PM plays they are still concerned about the hits he will receive this week. I have watched them the past two weeks predict 20 point wins against an overated defense and nonexistent offense. On the flipside I see a resurgance of optimism on this site with the possibility of winning this week growing with each day. I have to admit that I try not get to excited - its just the abuse I have been delt by this team, BUT....I feel something different....I feel like it was meant to be this season. We won't win style points Sunday, we wont put up 30+ points and wow america with Alex Smith's arm, but I think we will control this game.

If we hold Denver under 24.....we win.

This is why I want his horsey stubbornness to kick in, and for him to play against better judgement. The bottom line is this:

Though we may not win in Dungpilehigh, we CAN in fact inflict enough damage to **** Denver's world when they come to Arrowhead, and when we meet them in the play offs.
It would be awesome to keep the streak alive, but sometimes strategy is more important.

If Peyton makes it through us, Grumblelord will be waiting. I'd say he's about 50-50 to play in the game at Arrowhead.

Quote:
The only cure is rest, and there's no rest on the docket for Manning—the next three weeks see the Broncos face the Chiefs, Patriots, and the Chiefs again. Kansas City is first in the league in sacks per game, New England is fifth. The relentless NFL schedule has a way of turning nagging injuries into increasing liabilities, especially for a 37-year-old quarterback.

Take away those damn screen passes and we can win. Press coverage and make him stand back there and use his weak arm to beat us. Hit his ass hard. These days he is living on short screens.

A lot of talking heads are saying that... worst case, they split and the debate continues.

Let's see.....a former quarterback saying the team that is most quarterback driven in the league is going to win both the games. Sounds about right.
