Creepy Kavanaugh - The woman he allegedly sexually assaulted comes forward

Quote:
While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.

“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”

Ford said she was able to escape when Kavanaugh’s friend and classmate at Georgetown Preparatory School, Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling. She said she ran from the room, briefly locked herself in a bathroom and then fled the house.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/inves...=.7f45408b3cff

Updates:
Christine Blasey Ford has testified under oath before judiciary, that she was 100% certain Kavanaugh is the one who assaulted her. Republicans brought in a hired gun prosecutor to question her, instead of doing it themselves. She answered all the questions put to her. She has discussed her assault with friends and in therapy for years. Her husband said in an affadavit that he's known about her assault since 2002. 3 additional friends have sworn in affidavits that she's told them of her attack at different times between 2013 and 2017.

Deborah Ramirez has come forward to accuse kavanaugh of the following: “Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away.”

Julie Swetnick has attested in a sworn declaration that he engaged in abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls, that he would get girls drunk and spike punch so girls could be raped while incapacitated at parties.

Anonymous 4th accuser accuses Kavanaugh of shoving her aggressively and sexually up against a wall in 1998 when he was working on the starr investigation.

I agree and while we're talking about him behind his back I'd say it's the onky subject I really see his claws come out for.

I do agree. But I also think the GOP is desperately trying to rush the confirmation process.

Why is there such a sense of urgency to get Kavanaugh confirmed in the next 15 days?

Some think it's because the GOP wants to make sure that if Mueller attempts to indict Trump, they'll have a Supreme Court in place that will rule that a President cannot be indicted. Kavanaugh has made his position on that pretty clear in his prior writings, even though he refused to answer that question in his confirmation hearing.

I think that too.

I wonder if there are conservative judges out there who havent committed sexual assault or lied to congress.

Maybe this nominee is more about protecting trump than anything else.

Remember, Kavanaugh wasn't even on heritage foundation judge list.

Besides that they don't really care about this claim, since they know Trump would just pick another conservative. Maybe, we'll get a more conservative justice—aka more originalist. That would be hilarious if Kavanaugh goes down. Talk about shooting themselves in their own feet.

I never thought I'd see Republicans hypocritically rushing a nomination to avoid the results of an election right after using an election as an excuse to refuse a nominee 2 years before.

Wait, nevermind. That's exactly what anyone knew would happen.

I've already addressed that in this thread. Of course Trump will pick another conservative. It would be nice if he'd pick one without so much baggage, and one whose record they don't have to hide.

Why do they want to confirm him while they have a guaranteed majority? I should think that’s fairly obvious.

That is incorrect. They are used only as an interrogation technique. The polygraph has no more success in determining lying from truth than any other tool.

Quite a few criminals passed polygraphs with flying colors because well polygraphs don't actually tell you shit.

The Trump administration even talked about using polygraphs to identify who wrote the NY Times editorial that was allegedly written by an insider in the Trump administration, so don't tell me polygraphs have no value.
The Trump administration is also dumb.

You might want to re-think your position that polygraphs are junk science and never allowed in court, since Polygraphs ARE allowed in some legal jurisdictions.

Polygraphs are complete junk science. The courts let in a lot of junk science because judges are far too trusting of the government side, they pay their judges salary after all, and far too ignorant of actual science and scientific testing.

Well to be completely fair, I wasn't responding to anything being discussed in the OP, just pointing out how you're doing exactly what Goebbels said to do with your "Republicans are party before people" comment. So I mean I guess I wasn't actually trying to counter any facts?

And a totally honest question for those that don't want Kavanaugh nominated - Is this really about your feelings for Kavanaugh and how he might stack up as a SCOTUS appointee, or are you just hating this because of Trump? Please be honest. I ask because everything Kavanaugh has said to this point has indicated he will be a fair and impartial judge if nominated.
