So, I just checked into my hotel room. The gal behind the front desk was very friendly. She even asked three times if there were anything else I needed. After the third time, I responded, "No, okay? I'm fine." She looked perplexed and said, "Well, if you change your mind, just call the front desk and ask for Jasmine."

Well typically; the person asking is referring to one thinking differently about a situation. However, depending on the person’s intelligence they could be referring to a literal change of mind such as a brain transplant.

It was during the Raider game, and It was halftime getting beer for my friends. What harm is there in asking her directly? You are at a hotel which I'm guessing you don't visit routinely, correct? And you will not be seeing her again, ever?

I'd be curious enough (don't confuse that with tempted, I'm very, very happily married) to want to ask her directly if she was offering something particular.

This is what I'm thinking.

I've learned in my life that being direct sometimes is the best method of getting to the facts.

However in this situation and since you are happily married and faithful, do what I'd do. Just smile and forget it.

Of course I've been married for a long time and well...am pretty happy at home.
