The difference between being a 1 seed and a 2 seed just isn't enough to risk Embiid on, IMO. He's everything for this team.

Oh I'd agree, but it's easy to sit here and say "he needs to sit until it matters."

It's far harder to actually coach the team floundering around while Embiid sits at (totally arbitrarily made up, no idea where he is) 80% healthy.

By KenPom ratings, that's the worst possible QF matchup we could get. Would be better off facing the 2 seed. Maybe Tubby can do us a favor and slow the game down enough to fluke out a win against them.

Meh, I don't know. Anything is possible, but TT has kind of hit the skids lately, while OSU has been pretty hot. Probability lies with OSU, I think.

Bad game by Smart and all bets are off. Team doesn't do shit without Smart.

The Pac-12 could be sending 7 teams into the big dance, 5 of those are on the bubble though. ZERO top 20 KenPom wins for Arizona in two months. Yikes.

We didn't do much against quality teams. Beat Duke but were handled by FLA, lost to sdsu at home, lost to nova, Colorado. Our wins were against some pretty good league teams but I doubt any of them advance far in March

KU is a different team now than they were earlier against Florida and Colorado. Same can be said for Florida though. Weak conference but no doubt they're good.

He's also trolling. KU has more wins against Top 25 and Top 50 RPI teams than anybody in the country. They've shown an ability to compete with the best teams frequently in those close losses. If KU plays with focus and effort, we all know what they're capable of.
