My taste generally stays in the Progressive-Metal-Rock genres. I also enjoy Synthwave.

"Best of" is subjective, therefore it wasn't used.

If an entire list of music is irrelevant to you because it's missing an album you love, then I feel sorry for you.

I really enjoyed JD McPhereson - Undivided Heart & Soul. He is known for a retro sound rooted in the rock and roll, rockabilly, and rhythm and blues music of the 1950s.

Not that anyone else here listens to what I do... but if you did here’s my top albums of 2017

Christopher Martin- Big Deal
He’s been releasing music for years but this is his first full length album and it’s a good one. Great dancehall/reggae vibes.

Common Kings- Lost in Paradise
These guys are nominated for a Grammy for this cd which is pretty unheard of from an American reggae/rock band. This cd is pure fyah!

Dexta Daps-Intro
One of the best dancehall CDs of the year. The beats (riddims) are very well produced and he is lyrically talented. Really good cd.

Collie Buddz-Good Life
This is another good release from the Bermudan artist and it’s right up there with some of his best stuff.
