Tyshawn hurt us more than helped us in the first half – I’m not sure if they simply couldn’t get the ball to Robinson inside, but he seemed to decide he was the leader, he should take over, but got everything stuffed back into his face. It was kind of embarrassing. The 2nd half, is philosophy was “drive, put up some crazy shot, and hope you get fouled”, and it actually worked. I’m not sure if it will against more experienced bigs.

Kentucky was just more talented. They are probably the most long/athletic/raw talented team I can remember seeing. I don’t really see anyone beating them when it comes to March, unless they can get into the kids’ heads.

He played awful in the first half and was told to drive to the basket repeatedly in the 2nd half (which worked very successfully). He's maybe the only player that actually did anything positive in the 2nd half other than TRob's rebounding.

And nobody should have beaten KU's last two teams in the tournament, but they lost. Anything can happen in a one-off if you run into a hot team that's shooting well. I'd love another opportunity to beat that team in March, provided Robinson has learned how to pass out of a double team by then.

Eh, it was the 2 game of the year.

Imo, it's games like this that make Michigan State so good come tournament time. They always play a tough ass schedule early on, win some lose some, then by the end of the year they are playing well.

That's really close to me. Don't shy away from Talk of the Town (right next door) because that seems to be a KU watch bar - I went there a few Saturdays ago and everyone seemed to be there for the KU football game.

And they have a reputation as having some hot waitresses.

Seattle prep Anrio Adams confirms pledge

The commitment of Seattle combo guard Anrio Adams, which was reported in Sunday’s Journal-World, is now official. Adams, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior from Rainier Beach High, told Rivals.com on Sunday he’d spoken to Kansas University coach Bill Self, who Adams said, “is very excited I’ve decided to attend Kansas.”

Adams, who will take the SAT test in early December, will sign with KU in April.

Adams, who has attended three high schools, started at Seattle’s Franklin High, then moved over to Seattle’s Garfield High a year ago. He planned to transfer to St. Patrick High in New Jersey for his senior year, but changed his mind and now is at Rainier, the alma mater of former KU guard Rodrick Stewart.

Currently unranked, he chose KU over Washington, Baylor, UCLA and Louisville.

“I’m cleared and eligible to play this season at Rainier Beach," he told Rivals.com. “I’m eligible to play this year and I'm looking forward to the season. I’m doing my SAT and ACT stuff right now, so as far as being ready and getting prepped for college, I should be ready for next year. I decided to commit to Kansas now so I can focus on school and basketball. I'm the type of player that can do everything on the basketball court.”

Barleys has better food, IMO. And a better beer selection, I think. Of course, it's been a while since I have been there. I could be wrong.
