I seriously wonder why Pioli would even WANT to be back. Pride only goes so far. He knows everyone in KC thinks he's a POS. His record is against him. I would think the guy would want to be done.

That is my question as well.

I would think that, at this point, Dr. Evil would be more than happy to move back to what he considers civilization (see East Coast). Of course, he has demonstrated an almost unfathomable capacity to keep doing a very stupid thing in order to prove himself right, so maybe not.

Agreed, though I would think the end of last year he would have that mindset. After this abortion of a season, i would think he'd have the pride to just take his ball and go home.

I don't think that many people in the fan base or media would crap on Chunt for hiring Scott. A lot of people would have made the same move, myself included.

i've said all along imo it's about 40% chance that Pioli stays

But i also didnt' think the Chiefs would fire anyone before the season was over.


Why fire coaches and have to assign interim coaches for a few games if you are going to clean house?

we just don't know yet.

I just hope that Clark already has a plan in place and doesn't wait until the end of the season to start. He took too dam long last time and it hurt our ability to get coaches and scouts.
