Books that ****ed you up
there is really only one book that left me disturbed for quite some time after reading it, and it is Aztec by Gary Jennings.
Has anyone here read it as well? Did you feel the same way, and are there other books that leave you with a similar feeling? Quote:

Think I'd have to go with the Exorcist for a book that had me thinking Holy Shit Balls.
Much better than the movie

One of my all time favorites. And that one absolutely did a number on me. I had to stop reading it for a little while to get my head straight.
The only other book I've ever HAD to put down was American Psycho. That book is so ****ed up. Other books that messed me up: Blindess by Jose Saramago, The Road by Cormac McCarthy and Senseless by Stona Fitch. |
