I flew into NJ last Friday for a wedding and on Saturday we got 4 inches of snow at the shore. I'm now in northern VA and it's bitter cold. I can't wait to get back to Scottsdale!

I actually like the winters here on the lake. It hasn't snowed in three years and it is really quiet without all of the people coming to the lake like they do in the summer.
Three out of our last four winters in the Chicago area gave me a life time snow experience, don't need any more. |

I like the four seasons. With that being said, by the time winter has passed and spring is here, I can't say I have ever been sad to see spring arrive.

I should have said "Winter in western Kansas sucks". A lot of other areas get cold and it snows. This area gets cold but the wind is what makes it terrible.
We had a 20 degree morning with no wind and it was fine. Add a 10-20 mph wind and it becomes terrible. The short days also suck. Can't do anything outside with the kids. |

I would take blue skies and snow over 4 months of mild but grey everyday. I think we only saw the sun a handful of times last winter.

Hell yeah, I love me some snow. I haven't had to fire up my snowblower the last two winters though, so I'm ready for a bunch of it this year.

I really enjoy ice fishing and although snow isn't the only thing that determines being able to do that, it definitely helps.

I prefer it in the summer because it's pretty and then it melts quickly.
But I like it in the winter, too, mostly because I don't often have to drive in it, and it makes my neighborhood quiet and peaceful. I like it in bigger doses, though. Six inches isn't enough to change behaviors in Denver. It really needs to be a foot or more.

Nope. If it snows more than an inch it might as well be considered a blizzard with the way the city handles it's streets.
