Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Back in early November, I backordered a ton of 22 from midwayusa.com. I figured back then that it was still going to be hard as hell to find any locally, and I might as well order some while I can.

Part of that backorder arrived today.

Remington Thunderbolt (5,000 rounds)
American Eagle (4,000 rounds)
Winchester M22 (2,000 rounds)

Seeing your order reminded me of the M-22 recall. Meant to post this earlier but forgot. Check link below for which lots and congrats on your score Munson!

I honked 4 times when I went by the group that had NE license plates. Also saw a few of your cripples on Big Lake. Bald eagles got 'em

You should be able to order 2 bricks. But you need to make 2 separate orders of 1 brick each to get around their daily limit.

I decided to change things up with my 22 rifles, a Ruger 10/22 and Marlin 981T. They've been collecting dust for too long, and its time to start shooting them again.

MidwayUSA has a Nikon scope (Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40 BDC) that I've wanted for a while, and they have it on sale for $119.95 when its usually $149.95. The sale price is so good that I had to order 2 of them, one for each rifle.

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/184...-reticle-matte

I'm also switching out the stock on the 10/22 to a Hogue Overmolded in OD green.

And Midway is running a promotion for $15/$30/$45 off, depending on how much you spend.
