Screw all the Grbashers who say he can't bring us back. I know a lot of people were getting ready to jump all over him for the mistakes, but all QB's make them. The thing with Elvis, and Randy Cross I believe it was said it, is that he is at a point now where he doesn't let it bother him and he can come right back the next series and make things happen. This is how QB's mature. Unlike in the past, where games like the San Diego game and the Jets game would snowball on him after one mistake.

Major major props to Tony G. You are back and you stuck it to Romo. Screw him.

Running game, you suck. But T Rich, you deserve props. And nice catch and run by Cloud on that last drive. But that's about all he did.

Stoyo, you came through man.

And the D, big plays when we needed it. Bring it back next week and every week, we need ya.

This was very good to see. The team did not lose faith and they played as a TEAM. Hopefully the confidence is back and they have gelled.

Jimmy, you were erratic today, but overall good game, especially in the first and last drives. Work on things there in between.

So who wants tickets at the K now?

I am glad the coaches allowed Elvis to play his way out of his early game mistakes! He has attoned for them in the past two games - because he was allowed to throw the ball!!!

I'm impressed - he is a player!

Now we need a RUNNING BACK!!!

PS - Screw Randy Cross!!! That guy was 'deep-throating' Denver all day! Made me so angry, I had to turn him off & crank up the Stereo (KCFX of course!)

The SitCom doesn't work. Running up Gruny's butt every time doesn't work. Give the ball to Moreau and let him take it outside the tackles, and let him get enough carries to get into the flow of the game, then let's see what happens.

Those two INT's by Elvis were pretty bad throws, but that was a great drive at the end to win it. With the rushing attack we have, how can anyone say that he isn't playing well?

2 INT's? I believe another QB had 3 today (Testeverde) and still won. Yet he's a good QB right?

I was very proud of the way he was able to lead the team at the end of the game and get that touchdown. It was a great pass and a great catch by Alexander. Finally, he catches the big one!!

I just about died when Elvis threw that pick for a TD. He's got to stop throwing the ball off his back foot and into the middle of the field. His ability to bounce back is really impressing me. Great KC/Denver game as always!! I'll always remember Pile High as that lousy stadium where we took the last two!

Big, Big win.

HC,
Aside from Cross' kissing up to the Broncos (I wonder if he still is referring to them as the "undisputed best team" in the division and "Denver is back to their Super Bowl form.") he was right on about the Chiefs. The running back by committee does not work, and we use so many running backs because we don't have any good running backs. We need to find one guy and give it to him and let him get into a groove, because running guys out there cold does not get the job done.

Besides, I liked the fact that he said "this is the time where KC's defense usually steps up and they need to get that big turnover" and the next play was a turnover on that pretty play by Greg Wesley.

Which reminds me, major props to Wesley. Reggie who?

Good job, Elvis.

Time enough later to discuss the bad stuff in this game. Right now, I want to thank you for keeping your cool under intense pressure and leading us down the field for the winning score, without any rushing attack to speak of.

I am impressed.

xoxo~

I would like to give out my pat on the back to Elvis as well. There were times where he did some crazy stuff, but when he needed to, he came through big time and won the game for us in an environment where it is very hard to play.

It looks like he is coming of age and he may very well be the QBOTF.

Keep up the good work!

CHIEFS!!!
