Boom - no match on Sitton.

That's a load off, I wasn't excited about the idea of my Sweezy/Colon/Asomoah guard rotation. It's probably for a year or two too long, but he'll really help in the near term.

Yo, Topeka - you've signed about 20 guys in FA; you taking PMs? I sent you one and didn't hear back.

Not you DJ but it sure is frustrating not getting a response when PMing someone about a possible trade. 99% of the time I'm honestly not trying to gouge someone. That's the problem cause then you think you insulted them?

EDIT: Hey, at least he responded...right on.

Ah...I just used the list on the Sandbox standings page to find who I thought was the owner on CP.

Didn't realize you were running that shop now. I'll re-send.

I've tried to avoid even bidding on guys with match rights because I don't want the headache. I figured Sitton/Lang would be safe bids because I think Wichita would be insane to throw a 7 year deal at a guard when they have 2 elite guards already on the roster.

And I don't feel bad about you losing on Dietrich-Smith; you pushed me out on him.
I got Lang. I was desperate for a starting-quality guard since my young prospect has probably washed out of the league. Part of my strategy was to bid up Lang high enough that you guys would divert your attention to getting Sitton and let me have Lang. Worked I guess. Needed to solidify my line because Eli is having a bad year. I'm hoping by shoring up my line I can establish enough of a running game and protect Eli enough that he can have a good year in Sandbox. We'll see.

We should probably update the owners list in the OP.

Within Sandbox, the owners names appear across from the team in the standings page. They don't always match up wit CP handles but you can usually figure it out.

Additionally, I'm going to have to make some interesting roster decisions. It's a bummer I can't have an 80 man roster.

Well since that war is over - what made you like Lang more than Sitton?

Lang's a year younger, but I'd put his track record as 'solid' at best. Meanwhile Sitton's been a to 5-10 guard by PFF his entire NFL career, as high as 2nd a few years ago and challenging for that status again this year.

Sitton just seems like a much more desirable option to me.

May I ask, when you receive a message in Sandbox will an email notify you of it?

Depends on the kind of message.

Yes, you get email notifications when you are on the clock for draft picks and when one of your free agents is about to sign with another team. We will add some other notifications as time goes on.

Right now the primary communication mechanisms between owners is this thread and PMs. We are working on building a new website integrated with out own version of vBulletin, and at that time everything will be integrated there.

OK, take your time. I'm not going anywhere. Phobia stuffed my PM box so I don't think I can get PMs right now (until I go through it and clear some stuff out). You can either message me in Sandbox or here if you want to talk.
