Cheap way to all 10 Chiefs home games

http://www.chiefs.com/news/article-2...3-104d1c292658

Quote:
On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced the Bud Light Game Day Pass, a new mobile-only ticket option for fans looking for low-priced seats for Chiefs games.

For a season-long price of $200, the Bud Light Game Day Pass guarantees a ticket to all 10 Chiefs home games at Arrowhead Stadium. The limited number of seats available through the Bud Light Game Day Pass will be in select locations in the upper level of Arrowhead Stadium. Bud Light Game Day Passes are non-transferable and must be used by the purchaser.

These mobile-only tickets will be delivered to the cell phone of the registered purchaser the morning of the game and cannot be printed. Individuals may purchase up to four Bud Light Game Day Passes together, but that purchaser will own all four passes and will need to present the tickets at every game for the group to gain access to the stadium.

“The sports and entertainment ticketing industry continues to evolve as technology and purchasing habits change,” Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. “We are excited to test the Bud Light Game Day Pass this season and are grateful for our partners at Bud Light who embraced this concept from the beginning and have played a large part in making it a reality for the 2017 season.”

A long-term partner of the club, Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light are the exclusive beer of the Kansas City Chiefs. In addition to products offered at Arrowhead Stadium, the partnership includes programs designed to encourage responsible drinking and recycling, as well as focusing on fan events. Bud Light named the Kansas City Chiefs their 2016 Partner of the Year in May, recognizing the club for its creative and innovative approach to activating Bud Light for the team and its fans last season.

With a dedication to the fan experience at the forefront of their partnership with the Chiefs, Bud Light has previously sent contest-winning fans to the NFL Draft, expanded its role at the Chiefs Draft Day Party at The University of Kansas Health System Training Complex and introduced the Bud Light Party Lounge at Arrowhead Stadium for hosting contest winners.

“At Bud Light we are continually looking for innovative ways to bring friends together and enhance the fan experience with each of our partner clubs,” said Anna Rogers, Director of NFL Partnerships and Strategy at Anheuser-Busch. “When we were in discussions with the Chiefs, this new ticket concept came up and it made sense for us to get involved. Fans are always looking for the best options when it comes to their experience at the stadium, and we are proud to be able to bring this Game Day Pass to Chiefs fans who are looking for this type of ticket solution.”

A limited quantity of Bud Light Game Day Passes will be made available for purchase and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans interested in purchasing Bud Light Game Day Passes can call (888) 99-CHIEFS (24433) or visit www.chiefs.com/budlightgamedaypass for more information. Each game, a lucky group of Bud Light Game Day Passholders will be upgraded to the Bud Light Party Lounge, with access to a pregame tailgate and fully catered food and beverage options throughout the game.

Traditional Season Ticket Member packages are also available starting as low as $380 per year. Fans electing to purchase a season ticket package will be able to experience the full value of becoming a Chiefs Season Ticket Member and the year-round benefits associated with membership, including: payment plans, access to the best available seats, ticket priority for special events at Arrowhead Stadium, exclusive discounts on merchandise and select concession items, access to the STM version of Chiefs Kingdom Rewards, invitations to special events such as the Draft Day Party and STM Day at Chiefs Training Camp presented by Mosaic Life Care, ability to transfer, resell or donate tickets, as well as the ability to purchase your seats in the postseason and renew your seats after the season.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets, group tickets or those with questions about single-game tickets can call (888) 99-CHIEFS (24433) or visit www.chiefs.com.

For essentially a $400 investment for 2 tickets, this is pretty intriguing. Odds are you can find some unoccupied seats somewhere or watch part of the game from the concourse.

Seems like a pretty good way to sell cheaper tickets while trying to cut secondary markets.
