I watched this movie over and over and over when I was a kid. The effects (such as they were) are now horribly dated and cheesy, but the theme's still a killer.
The actual theme begins at 2:14. Last edited by chefsos; 02-08-2013 at 06:09 PM.. Reason: The theme stats at 2:14! I thought I'd edited it right, but... |

I think most people are conflating theme (music) with theme song. They're different for these awards.
And like it or hate it, Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go" is got to be biggest commercially, "Beauty and the Beast" is great, "Moon River," "When You Wish Upon a Star," "As Time Goes By," and "I've Had the Time of My Life" are iconic, but . . . the greatest song in movie history is Judy Garland's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." |

This is a little random but I was watching a show on Disney Channel with my younger(much younger) brother and I thought it was pretty cool. Gravity Falls. By the way, for a kids show its not bad.

Jaws, Star Wars, Close Encounters, Superman, Raiders, ET
Probably never see a run of themes like that in history again.
