I like port pretty well. The best one I've ever had is Taylor Fladgate (10yr). It's high dollar too.....well about $28-30. There are older varieties too, that are really expensive. A good cheap port is Clocktower. Australian I think.

I like tawney port okay, but have never tried a vintage one. Right now, on the rare occasions when I buy expensive booze it is for a good bottle of wine or a single-malt scotch.

At the recomendation of my wine merchant I have bought each of my kids a bottle of their birth year vintage ports.
As luck would have it each year one of my kids were born was a good vintage. The plan is to have a big dinner when the kids turn 21 and open the bottle after dinner. |

Wine makes me giggle. Other than that, I don't know anything about it, except for I like white wine over red.
