Is Hunt Telling The Truth?
Don't want to start a panic, but I know we are all thinking the same thing even if we want to ignore it. Clark SAYS he is gonna hire a vet coach that's experienced in what we need and that Pioli won't play a part in the search, but then we keep hearing about guys Pioli has connections with getting interviews and how Clark hasn't even contacted Andy Reid.

I may be jumping the gun here, but this is starting to remind me of last years "we are gonna bring in qb competition" talks that we all know how that ended.

Is this a "fool me once..." type scenario or are all the tree coaches interviewing just bs leaked by Pioli to create the impression he still has his nuts?

Should we be pissed?

Pioli was probably looking for a job in Arizona


If he finds another job he will give in on the buyout stuff. If he doesn't then he will hang tough and try and force a full payout.

If he finds another job of an equivalent level, there won't be a buyout. The Chiefs only owe him money if he doesn't have a job or if the job is a clear demotion.

I don't think there is much chance that he will find an equivalent level job this year. He is going to have to go be a player personnel only guy and prove that he isn't a problem guy first.

Any chance pioli is looking for a job under dimitroff? Would be pretty hilarious to watch him stoop to that, but if he swallows his ego, it's a good career move for him.

Clark sure did say what he was going to do. He had that look on Monday of a pissed off man on a mission. Normally he is really laid back on his interviews but you can just tell the frustration of the whole season went out on Monday.
