1) less than one year of playing time
2) nobody really knows his true age...the guy could literally be 27 years old.
3) extremely raw, technique wise, after only playing football for 3 years of his life and for a squad that didnt really have the quality of coaches that other college teams do.

There's also a great article about the rookie cap and how it affects the salary cap. Basically, the Chiefs won't need 5 million for rookies. About the first 4 rounds in the draft class will be taking the place of the top 51 already on the roster.
