my wife left me via text message so I understand your gut wrenching pain Beach. It doesn't heal quick enough, but if you allow yourself to focus on making a better you, there WILL be other people *if you allow* to help fill that void. They will never completely fill that void until YOU are ready to fill it and that is OK. it is OK to NOT be okay.. but understand that the more you allow yourself to be dragged down by the hurt, that it could have some devastating effects on your life in all aspects. Be strong.

Ya know this may be worthy of it's own thread on stories.

I had an ex-girlfriend in college that I walked up behind in mid sentence offering to blow my frat brother in the bathroom. I walked up to ask her if she needed another Iron City (went to school at U of Pitt) and her exact words were "I'll blow you in the bathroom".

I still wonder every once in awhile what was in that mouth I was kissing but I was a 4 year wrestler who had balls in my face and arm pit sweat drip in my mouth so I was able to blow it off as just another "yuck" in that regard but the emotional hit was the bad part..

That shit is tough man. The key right now is not to react on impulse. You seem like a guy who has his shit together pretty well. Don't **** it up.
