***** Official Royals vs. Tigers Game 2 Thread*****

Here it is folks, my second attempt at harnassing my psychic ability.

KAN: Bannister (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
DET: Rogers (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

I say we knock the Gambler around a little today. Butler has three hits, including a double. Final score Royals 8 - Detroit 3.

We win this one and we're in the playoffs for sure.

Holy crap! Thank goodness for the internet, huh?

Oh ya, I am blacked out for mlb's KC Royals internet tv broadcast also.

Iowa is the Bermuda Triangle of baseball television. Games get beamed into the state and disappear because we are the most black-out state in the country. Six teams all claim Iowa as their market, which means that we could potentially be blacked out of up to 12 games, leaving us to watch the other 3 or 4. I think there was actually a day or two a while back where it just worked out that literally every single game was under blackout restrictions in Iowa.

Here's what I'm dealing with:

blackout map

In Kansas City (and most of Kansas), you guys are only blacked out of Royals games if your cable company doesnt work out a deal.

I am blacked out of the Royals, Cubs, White Sox, Brewers, Twins, and Cardinals, along with any team that they are playing. The only other area that is blacked-out of the same number of teams is Las Vegas.

I closed a few things and now it kinda works with a few stutters. However, its really far behind, at least 4 pitches.

Bannister looks good after four innings and he might not just be a one year flash. Payback to the Mets for David Cone.

Floyd bannister also lead the league one year and had over 200 strikeouts. Much has actually been made how floyd was a :stuff" pitcher and old bannie has to use his cock and balls
