Many people I know around here are all caught up in snowmaggedon '13. We did and are getting dumped on pretty good but still... it's getting ridiculous.

If you're dealing with the worst snowstorm in the history of mankind, i.e. if you're in the midwest and have a bunch of panicy friends... please check in here and let us know you're still alive. Maybe include an update of just how alive you are. At home safe alive...stuck at work alive... in a ditch alive... bleeding from at least 4 orifaces after the accident and the nurse has cold damn hands alive... those will work. Let me/us know how much concern we should have or if a prayer thread may be in order.

If you aren't alive please don't feel the need to respond. We'll just assume.

Des Moines is just beginning to get hit. Had an interesting scenario present itself in the slickness.

So, you crest a hill and see two cars stopped in the middle of the street. You pump the brakes, but quickly realize there will be no stopping in time and begin to slide. What do you do?

1.) Try to jump the curb (A) or (C) and assuredly take out our entire front end.
2.) Brace your self and rear end the car in front of you. (B)
3.) Take your chance that you can beat the oncoming car and turning cars to the point (D) and avoid any collision.
4.) Attempt to fishtail around the stopped cars and oncoming car and achieve (E).
