I agree with your point. Too much to give up for someone who has done less with more natural ability than the QB we have. I don't care about being fair and I don't buy the trust them argument. Been there done that. 1 for 14 on 3rd down in an AFC Championship game is worse than........(insert Chiefs playoff QB here).

It's a short term fix but they are spending future capital. I don't like the trade.

Uh, sure. Absolutely, losing in over time of the nfccg in which you had zero to do with the play, is far worse than anything any chiefs qb has done since montana. great call. Chiefs fans would be jumping for joy just to make the playoffs come january, much less if they had a chance to go to the super bowl.

Unless he plays lights out, wins multiple playoff games, etc., it's hard to envision him as the starter in 2015.
