I also have spent zero time building armor and weapon mods as you guys have been doing. I've basically been slamming out missions, throwing up plain Jane buildings with beds at my settlements, and loading each settlement up with stores. Maybe I should slow down and enjoy the other aspects of the game.

You can max out the Trilby hat as well. 110 damage reduction on both is beastly.

I am way behind, but I bought Fallout 3 PC for cheap a while back.


Man did it take a while to get into, but it's getting better and better.


I wish the gun battles and control were better. It's clumsy as hell.

Put more points into your weapon skills. It's not a standard FPS. That's why VATS is there.

I have been learning to use VATS quite a bit.

Like any game, especially a great one, there can be a learning curve involved. I guess I was expecting HL2-like gameplay with and open-world, RPG element.

The only game I have found like that is STALKER.
