There's nothing wrong with that time. A friend of mine that is a serious runner AND a doctor has always said this, "It doesn't matter whether you're running, slow jogging, or walking, the important thing is that you're moving."
That really inspired me. Even if you're only walking a mile per day, you're still moving. Just ran my first 5k about a month ago and actually came in at 29:58. I'm 5'8" and 195. Started running a couple months ago. My original goal was to walk/run 50 miles per month. The last two months have been 70+. Just keep moving. Speed is relative. |
