Easily the best Chiefs week we've had in a while.

Following a promising opening win, and going into our second game which is a home opener against a hated opponent.

Sounds like Arrowhead is going to be in prime condition.

The team is 100% pumped.

Our team is legitimately better, with the sole exception of the Cowboys vaunted passing offense.

This is going to be a very fun game, but I have loved the shit out of this week.

The Chiefs are not a Super Bowl team, but if they can put together an above-.500 season where they put the hurt on everybody they play... this will be a great year.

Okay. Let me work something out for you here.

lets just say the Chiefs make it in as the 5th or 6th seed.

That's assuming the Broncos, and lets go Patriots by default are the bye seeds, leaving the Bengals and Texans as division winners, and make the Colts as the other wild card.

What in your right mind makes you see that the Bengals or Texans would SQUASH the Chiefs?

The chiefs very well may have the BEST DEFENSE In the AFC right now.

Alex Smith isn't going to turn the ball over. There really isn't a defense in the AFC that you would look at other than MAYBE the Texans or Bengals that are even in the discussion.

People are overrating the strength of the AFC. KC would be a hell of an out for anyone in the playoffs. Tough defense, run game, super efficient qb and great special teams?

Teams that don't beat themselves, win a LOT of games.

The AFC is up for grabs in my opinion. Denver, Houston, New England...all beatable. Pittsburgh and Baltimore aren't what they once were. Who knows this year.

jfc man we just got done beating a JAX team that maybe Alabama would even give them a run for their money.

If our defense destroys Romo and the Cowboys...THEN we should have something exciting brewing here in KC.

I'm pretty sure Andy Reid & John Dorsey brought Smiff in here to make a run at a championship. Now.

Yeah I feel pretty good and confident about the Dallas game. I just hope people don't get too discouraged if there's a letdown and we lose. That all will depend on the manner of the loss of course. But I think we win by more than 1 score.

Pretty much every team is one QB injury away from being ****ed. Besides the teams that have shitty QBs that are ****ed already. They might actually benefit from their starter going down and someone behind them emerging. Just like Cassel for us. We were one QB injury away from being a better team. Too bad Quinn was somehow worse...
