Not sure if serious. As a rule of thumb, 10 decibels is about TWICE the perceived loudness.

Actually, it's a factor of 10. The difference between 125db and 135db is actually quite substantial.

It's a POWER factor of 10, but perceived by the human ear it's about twice.

Yes, that's the point I was making with my original post in this thread. People see 136.6 vs. 124.5 and say "Hey, that's pretty close!", when it's really not at all.
