Sorry, I must call bullshit on your "220" average. Your second paragraph gave you away. It's like somebody claiming to know something about football and then talking about the time a quarterback kicked a touchdown.

Yep. The best bowler in our bowling league averaged a 219 this year. I've seen several people average 225 over the years...one of my best friends had a 231 average 4 years ago and it seemed like he was turning in a 750 every ****ing week...

but no ****ing backhand spinner is going to average a 225...you can't constantly leave 7 and 10 pins and be a 225 bowler...and there is no ****ing way a guy who isn't throwing a correct hook has an average a 225. At least say 200 and make it believable.

He already said that style causes him to have little pin action...well, guy, if you don't have pin action, you aren't AVERAGING a 225.

He may have got lucky once and bowled a 220, and now he thinks that was his average. Kind of like a golf n00b who managed to par a hole once and thinks he can shoot in the 70s.

This.

Me and my Dad used to bowl a lot, and my Dad's highest game ever was 223. He had that same back-handed release, and got absolutely no ball speed whatsoever. Only times he got high scores was if he was lucky as shit, and he'll even admit it.

There isn't really an easy way. What I usually do is try several different starting positions on the walk-through and then tinker with different angles until I find a good path.

Call BS if you wish, but some in some crate was our senior year jerkoff 'Lifetime Sports' PhysEd bowling records. Haven't gazed upon it in a while, nearing 25 years, but it was over 220, almost sure in the 225 range. And if my terminology is off it was because I wasn't taught. We just went to the alley 3x a week for a semester and free-bowled.

Give it up. You might be able to kid yourself into thinking you averaged 225 without knowing anything about the game and with a girlish backhand release, but any real bowler knows that your story is total bullshit.

You may have bowled a 225 GAME once. Anyone can do it once. There's a huge ****ing difference between doing it once and AVERAGING 225.

If I get a hole in one, does that mean my average score for 18 holes of golf is 18?

He just got intentionally walked in the 8th inning with a runner on 3rd base. Pretty good for your 5th game.
