KanRockSas

God, I think I'm going with a group of friends.

The lineups at this thing sounds SICK.

Anybody else going? Would be cool to meet up with any of you, even if it is just for an easy lunch before things split sideways.

It was a festival lineup without a lot of vision. Cochella and Bonaroo can have acts of a wide variety because they bring in big names. If you're not either of those, then it's best to go with a theme (electronic, hip-hop, jam band, whatever) and go with it until you're so legendary that Jay Z wants to play between the Flaming Lips and Sting Cheese.

All they would have had to do was throw Nickelback in the line-up and all the 98.9 "Johnny Dare just gets me goin in the morning, he's sooooo funny" crowd would have been breaking their chain wallets trying to open them fast enough.

It's poorly branded as well. The name KanRockSas makes it sound like Rocklahoma or one of the other lameass festivals with a bunch of headlining has-beens and second tier numetal acts.

When I look at the lineup, the last thing I think is "Rock!"

Sucks, it is good for what it was, but it had no power, no real advertising or radio stations pimping it.
