Yeah,Brady has had multiple comeback wins this year and essentially you are saying Alex is a future HOFer.

The Tom Brady comparison is way out there with homerism

that's why stats never paint a picture...Alex has stats of a guy who had a team that constantly had leads and never had to play from behind the first 9 games. That's why his yardage is down.

Then you look at Brees last week who put up 400 meaningless yards.

Insane. The Chiefs, this year, this team, would be NO BETTER with Tom Brady at QB. Record wise. At this point.
Tom would have won the SD game and the second Denver game.

How you figure? Youthink he would have gotten into field goal range with 20 seconds left in the game?

As great as Brady is, he even loses a few games here and there. Hell, he just threw an interception in the endzone and they lost the game.

Truth is, we dontknow what game he would have and wouldnt have won, but i rather see him as a qb on my team then Smith any day.

The wheel route to JC last week on third and one? it worked beautifully, but i honestly HATED that ****ng call... take the easy road to that first down and live to bomb another day, that's what i always say.

Yeah, felt the same way about the 3rd and 1 call... so glad it worked, but still. I wish I could get a stat % specification on the 3rd and short plays where JC runs a quick hitter behind the lead block of Sherman. Seems like that run always nets KC at least a few yds.. yet they often run a singleback formation play in 3rd and short.. and run draws or pass the ball.

I don't think the offense has gelled.

Outside of Charles making 4 huge plays last week it looked kinda crappy.

The KC offense ranks 13th in offensive efficiency right now. Good for a yr 1 offense with average weapons.

Bowe is good and showing better play. Avery, McC, and the rest of the WRs are meh. JC is JC, so that's the one great aspect. The TEs... well, we all know the deal there. Injuries and unspectacular but often decent play.

So being 13th in this efficiency stat... while also being 2nd worst for offensive penalties.. and being 5th worst in drops. I don't know or care so much about a ton stats like some. I know that they can be manipulated, and they sure don't always tell the full story.

... but being 13th in efficiency seems decent to me, all things considered.
