Unless we see more of this Hannon guy, I don't think he even has a shot at the squad. The way I see it, it's pretty much between Thorpe, McIntyre, Curry, and Webb, those last one or two spots. |

I think Thorpe will end up on IR. Same maybe for Lenny Walls.
replace smith with brown at RB. replace hannon & webb with curry & McIntire. |

Dalton looked like a turd...I could see him losing his spot to Burton, if he can play DT better than DE..I realize he was filling a need saturday, but I hope he looks better in the middle.
Dee Brown looks to be the 3rd back to me. tre Stallings looked terrible. He's practice squad. I wasn't very impressed with Griffin and think someone else might get that spot. My wildcard for that spot, based on saturday is Kershaw. I think Hodge has to show something in the next week or so....I think at this point, Chris Johnson might be a better option for the last spot. He's got some game experience and can return kicks in a pickle. Other than that, I don't think that is too far off. |

I can see why people might not understand the inclusion of Hannon. But anybody that thinks Curry or McIntyre is going to beat out Webb is probably mistaken. They're saying good things about Webb, he's the only one standing out right now after the Kennison, Parker, and Dante...

He seemed to think Hannon and Webb both might have an inside track because of their size. |

Dixon, drop Hicks, expect Wilkerson to play DE and keep Dixon. He had a good showing in NFLE and take a look at his play toward the end of the game.

I think the size thing is a key, in order to try and find a more "traditional" possession receiver in the offense (although what's Gonzalez (or Wilson if he ever shows up), really...) In the end, the question will probably come down to what we get on special teams, and we may still see both of them on the practice squad and someone like McIntyre on the roster because of his "familiarity" with the offense. But I like the idea of having a couple of 6'2/3, 210+ pound receivers with decent football speed at our disposal. I think either could give us as much (and probably more) than the great white hope/hype Boerigter would (I liked Bo, it's not so much a slam, but he never really did anything...). |
