If I have a motor boat the lakes are fine, if not love tubing on the rivers. There are some good ones in Mo and Ark. Also on the river you can fish for trout.

We have ground along the Missouri River and hunt ducks there. But for fishing, lakes the Quetico boundary waters in Canada are my favorite. Which is where I'm heading in two weeks.

Dad went to the Buffalo down in Arkansas yesterday. He said he had to paddle more than he has in all of his float trips combined. It's been a warm winter, and we haven't had a lot of rain. A lot of the rivers are really low. One of the attorneys I work for said that you almost have to plan on going to a spring fed river to get any current. |

Doesn't matter as long as the fishing is good, the company is good, the beer tastes good, and the whores are dressed like whores.

Yeah. It's just not something I think of when I go to the river. I think of floating, while I think of being stationary on a lake to fish. I love fishing off the bank. If I'm in the water, I'd rather be moving (canoe, inner tube, swimming, speed boat, etc).

The place my friends and I most often go has a small creek and a pond. It feels more river-y, so I chose that.

I like a lake better. I like the deeper water.
