LJ’s Staggering Stats After 20 Starts
The Chiefs are 14-4 (.778) when RB Larry Johnson posts a 100-yard game. Miami is 2-11 (.154) when permitting a 100-yard rusher dating back to 2004, including a streak of five consecutive losses. Kansas City also boasts a 10-2 (.833) mark in games when Johnson scores two or more rushing TDs. Last week at St. Louis (11/5), Johnson made just his 20th NFL start. No player since the AFL-NFL merger has produced more rushing TDs (30) or total TDs (34) in his first 20 starts than Johnson. In 40 career games in a Chiefs uniform, Johnson has produced a total of 39 rushing TDs, a mark that is already tied for fourth in team history. The Dolphins are 20-4 (.833) when producing a 100-yard back dating back to 2002. Miami RB Ronnie Brown has averaged 114.3 rushing ypg the past three weeks and registered a career-high 157 yards at Chicago (11/5).
