Webb did OK back there last year, so at least he has experience tracking the ball. If it was Sippio, at least you know he wouldn't be ankle tackled like Drummond seems to be (when he isn't running out of bounds).

Have my ears gone blind or did I just hear this correctly? A radio person just said that Brodie Croyle is the 2nd youngest quarterback to start for the Chiefs in their 48 year history?

Does that sound right?

Regardless, with the current special teams blocking, Dante Hall in his prime would have no where to go.

returns are a young man's sport

if a team is rebuilding and trying to get younger then special teams is the place you start. They are crazy and trying to prove themselves ... old guys have too much to lose.

Indeed. Shoulda kept Phinn...but I liked the idea of Webb, he did well last year when Dante was out. Hell, can't do any worse anyway...

I'm sure this isn't news, but my guess is that Drummond was another symptom of Herm's Fumblephobia, Mr. Laz. He probably believed that the more experienced player would result in fewer turnovers. I'm surprised about how bad Drummond is, though. Several Planeteers have mentioned that there have been times when he had a seam with blocking and took another route to the 18. Let's tie him to a tree and shoot dung balls at his eyes.
