Even though it's a time suck, I'm thinking about picking up Oblivion. How are the expansion packs? I'm debating between the normal and GOTY versions.

Stopped playing Halo 3 after COD4 came out.

This is most definitely true.

We had two TV's about 10 feet apart with 4 people on each X-Box, and it was great.

Everybody was so pissed when we'd play 'Longest' because whoever got the invisible shield was gonna dominate. That really was the best gaming experience I've had, and I don't know if it was because Halo kicked so much ass and was so new, or the fact that we didn't have XBL and I was only playing against people I knew and could talk so much shit.

I saw a couple of fist-fights break out over that game.

Halo 3 bored me after about 2 weeks of constant play...I don't even remember beating the game, but I did, that's how unimpressive it was to me.

I don't play campaign...I'm talking about online style. I'd love to get a couple of guys that like Halo 3 to party up and we could own some bitches Carl Peterson style!

I felt the same way about Halo 3, except it was probably a couple months insead of a couple weeks. I do love shotty/sniper games in Halo 3 and some other modes can be fun. The game is not bad at all, it can be fun, but COD4 Hardcore is just much more my style.

In general, I don't buy FPS for SP, because that's the most boring thing you can do on your console. If you want SP, play RPGs or racing, FPS should be MP only, IMO. I still beat the campaigns, but that's just the completionist in me.

Please don't listen to him about MP. I love single player and suck online. Take away my SP FPS and will have nothing to do.

Bought it and played through it in a few days.
I really enjoyed it but haven't picked it back up in a few weeks.

It's a very good game, though I had a few complaints. It's far too short and easy, and the loot in the game is pretty awful. Exploration would have been a lot more fun if all the items you found weren't absolute crap.
