I can't think of another show that actually exceeded my expectations with it's season opener.

BB did just that.

Granted, I was smart enough to stay out of this thread before watching Sunday's episode, but not everyone else is.

Spoiler tags are here for a reason.

It's pretty much standard operating procedure everywhere that spoiler warnings only apply prior to a show's air date. Spoiler tags are more for future events. i.e. if somebody had seen the episode last week and came on here posting details before Sunday night, that's bad news, or if somebody was posting about next week's ep now, but talking about the episode after you've seen the national broadcast is perfectly kosher.

Not a big deal, but I disagree.

People still use spoiler tags discussing movies after the release date.

They may, and I have (folks are doing it right now in the Dance with Dragons thread, in fact), but the unwritten rule is that they only apply until airdate. You can't really 'spoil' something that's already broadcast.

In the end, I've always considered it my own responsibility to stay out of threads/discussions if I haven't watched something that's already broadcast. In that instance, if I get spoiled, it's my own fault.

Movies have a national broadcast at a set date and time?

Don't disagree here, I even mentioned as much in my post.

That's what I thought. I wouldn't even think about opening this thread if I had not seen the latest episode.

OMFG just watched the premiere! What a badass episode. I love every single camera angle used in this show, it's just absolutely perfect.

When Gus slit his throat, it made me cringe.

I didn't dislike the episode, but it didn't really blow me away. The henchman getting taken out didn't surprise me at all. The most interesting thing was watching the stare down between Jessie and Gus, all I could think was that Jessie is now a killer. It is really dang hard not to post where I think the show is going, but I'd hate to be right and ruin anything (not that we all aren't probably thinking similar things).

I agree. It is so hard not to post your predictions. And I am guilty of that. In the future I will make a conscious effort not to do that any more.
