I really don't care either way. If he looks good and he makes the team, I'll cheer for him. If he doesn't? I'll forget he ever existed in maybe 2 days after he gets cut.

7th round pick is 7th round pick.

Shit, our best 7th round pick in the last 10 years was probably Jake O'Connell and he is universally hated on this website for some reason

You have a better shot of a UDFA making an impact than anything in the 6th or 7th round ... why? Because a 7th round pick is basically the 1st round of the UDFA pool ... they're like preferred walk-ons

Succop was the worst pick ever

he's a terrible kicker

any kicker that actually gets drafted should be a pro bowl caliber kicker

taking a kicker in the 7th round is like taking a 1st round kicker since 90% of NFL kickers went undrafted

This may be me overthinking, like I said.

i think the tweet, along with the picture was meant to convey the message of, "I've got this 'thing' wrong with me. it's something i'll have to deal with, and the past year has been spent learning about that. However, I still plan to try and be a badass, as evidenced by this sweet tank top. Keep sleeping on Mike Catapano!"

Of course, i fully admit I could be way wrong.

Exactly. I thought he was trying to say that when people ask him if he's doing better, he just smiles because he doesn't want to talk about such a touchy subject right now

On Friday, the Chiefs finally revealed the mystery illness that had been plaguing defensive end Mike Catapano for the better part of two months.

“Mike had two issues,” trainer Rick Burkholder said. “One, he had a virus that was gastrointestinal based. As we studied that — and we studied it extensively — he went to New York to the Hospital for Special Surgery, and there it was determined that he had another problem, that he had a concussion.”

Catapano was moved from the reserve/non-football illness list to injured reserve this week, and was last spotted in the building Thursday.

Burkholder, who did not take questions about Catapano’s condition, said he was placed on the non-football illness list because of the virus and then placed on injured reserve because of the concussion, which proved to be a little harder to diagnose.

“He was studied at New York University Hospital, the University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh for the concussion,” Burkholder said.

However, with a prognosis now known, Catapano can finally start the process of recovery, though his move to injured reserve ensures he will not return this season.

“We’ve gotten a prognosis and we’ve got rehabilitation to do,” Burkholder said. “He’s back here. He’s doing rehab with us and he’ll be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Parasite.

He'll be on an episode of "Monsters Inside Me" next year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
