Exorcism of Emily Rose

A couple of friends and me just finished watching this movie and all of us agreed it was a really creepy but very good movie.

If you haven’t seen the film it’s basically broken down into two plots; the girl who is possessed and the Catholic Church being put on trail for handling the matter as a possession instead of a physical illness that could have been treated.

If you come from a Catholic upbringing I can pretty much assure you it will be even that much scarier.

Very creepy movie, haven’t had the heebie jeebies like that since watching “The Exorcist” when I was about 10 years old.

Really cool to find a movie that can still creep you out.

Anyone else see it? Thoughts?

** Spoilers **

When her boyfriend woke in the dorm room and found her on the floor I almost peed a little.

Damn fine flick.

I've been pushing this on my friends for a few months now....

Creeped the hell out of me. Very well done.

Agreed.

I'm actually just killing time right now to get a buffer between the movie and bed time.

It's neat to be scared like when your a little kid but still has the same bed time effects.

I *LOVED* the movie!

My wife doesnt think much of scarry movies but I liked how they worked in between the story and the courtroom. It gave her enough time to calm down... just to be scared all over again.

I sawit in theaters @ a 1045 pm showing, so it was after midnight when i walked out. As always, I had to piss after the movie was over. I looked ever dude in the bathroom in the eye, to make sure they weren't on Satan's payroll. Yes this movie freaked me out like nothing before or since.

There was no "real" Emily Rose. It's all based off the story of a girl from Germany.

The devil may be real is the best I could put it.

Make your own interpretation then I’ll discuss it with you. Try explaining “dammit carl” to someone who doesn’t follow the Chiefs.

comprendere?

I'm going to be out till 8pm, check back.

Haven't seen it. Hope it's scarier than the original Exorcist. Sure, it had its moments, but mainly I found the demon to be amusing.

I can do that Pazuzu voice almost perfectly, too. Great for scaring the shit out of drunks at the bar.
