What't the most important part of evaluating draft picks?

on the defense. For me it would be brains. Can they sniff out a play at the start? Can they decipher where an offense is going before the snap? Thats something some of our recent picks lack. Mitchel has a ton of physical gifts but may not have the brains to read an offense. Bartee was a horrible miscaculation, no instinct at all and does not understand NFL offenses.

After that it's tackling and technique. Depending on the postion. Turning your head to find the ball at CB would be pretty important to me also.

Then I'd look into speed at LB and CB and saftey.

D-Line would attitude and strength.
