You have to be the biggest homer to think we are going to be good this year. The AFC is friggin loaded and we still have Herm Edwards as our coach. Our starter is Huard and well....yeah it doesnt look to promising.

I hope I am dead wrong though.

6-10 or 7-9

Croyle definately needs a good looooong look whatever happens. We need to know if hes the real deal. If not then we can take a QB high in next years draft.

A team rebuilding/retooling in transition.

Because of the "O" line situation.

chiefs are rebuilding/retooling. the qb and o-line situation will stunt LJ's production, forcing an above average defense, not great, to pick up the slack, which it will probably not be able to do. 6-10, still finish better than the raiders.

I voted for retooling/rebuilding even though by week 10 if you asked they might be in full collapse.

I have zero confidence in the CP/Herm team.

I believe this team needs to get to the playoffs this year.

They need a decent playoff experience to wash their hands of last year's performance.

Two things I want to see:

- Croyle establish himself as the starter at some point this season

- The defense take the next step and show the makings of a potentially dominant unit

I think we will still be in contention late in the season if we don't actually make the playoffs. With the above mentioned improvements, I will take that as a successful season.
