The Chiefs drafting Dion Jordan would be confusing. He certainly would not fit as a 3-4 DE. He would have to start at outside linebacker, but we have 2 pro bowlers in Houston and Hali occupying those spots. I would rule out Dion Jordan for that reason.

Well Tamba isn't getting any younger and while he's a good player, I wouldn't say he's an elite "top tier" pass rusher.

Basically if you feel you can get an elite pass rusher, I see no reason to hold back.

I don't like the idea of this team only having 2 pass rushers anyways. That's not enough and if one of them gets injured, we're F-ed.

Unless they are moving Hail back to DE cause of his age and draft Jordan?

Unless you think Dion Jordan the next Von Miller, you just don't draft him because he would play a position that is already a strength on the Chiefs D.

Hali and Houston provided 19 total sacks combined last year and they are likely to give us around 20 sacks for the next two years as Hali might be a tad declining if at all but Houston is on the rise.

It is the Dline that is the weak link on the defense and that needs to put more pressure on QBs and unless Poe blossoms, there's not much there as Devito and Jackson are poor passrushers.
